Auto Paint & Refinishing
A repair is only as good as its finish. Good paintwork comes down to preparation, colour matching and blending, and we take our time on all three.
Paint matching starts with the colour code on your vehicle, but a code alone is not enough. Paint fades and shifts with age and sun, so the mix is checked against the actual car before it goes on.
Blending means feathering colour into neighbouring panels so there is no visible line where new paint meets old. It is often the difference between a repair you can spot and one you cannot.
The repair process

- 02

The colour is mixed from the code and checked against the car.
- 03
Paint & blend
Base colour is applied and blended into surrounding panels.
- 04
Clear coat & finish
Clear coat is applied and the finish is checked in good light.

Paint & Refinishing questions
View all FAQsCan you match my paint colour?
Colour is mixed from your vehicle's paint code and checked against the car itself, because paint changes with age. Blending into neighbouring panels helps the repair disappear.

Helpful guides
- Should You Repair or Replace a Damaged Bumper?Repair it if the damage is scuffs, small cracks or a shallow dent and the mounting tabs are intact. Replace it if the cover is torn, has several cracks, has broken mounting points, or if the parts behind it are damaged.
- How Automotive Paint Matching WorksPaint matching starts with the colour code on your vehicle, then the mixed paint is checked against the car itself because paint fades and shifts with age. Blending the new colour into the panels beside the repair is what makes the match invisible.
- Can a Dent Be Repaired Without Repainting?Often, yes. If the paint is not cracked or chipped and the metal has not stretched or creased sharply, a dent can usually be worked back into shape without repainting. Deep dents, sharp creases and dents with damaged paint need body work and refinishing.
